Roleplay- 23rd of September

Mario smiles at Wisher and peeps to him letting him know he's welcome to make himself feel at home in the group.

Tamasha sat and watched from a short distance.

Mario decides to stand sentry and scans the sky and horizon for danger.

Zakiya just scent marked everyone, she was really getting into being the new dominant.

Not getting a good view of the Kalahari landscape, Mario pads over to a nearby stump and climbs to the top to continue sentry duty. He's staying extra vigilant and focused and is taking sentry duty very seriously. He's determined to keep his newly formed group safe. At least there's something he's good at doing as a dominant male.

Zakiya just ignored Mario, he still had a lot to prove.

mario seems to have everything in control with sentry duty, keeping his focus, staying perfectly balanced on the stump and reassuring the group with all clear peeps when suddenly his short attention span begins to show. He spots an unresistably delicious looking milipede marching across the sand. He squeaks hungrily and jumps down from his sentry post. Mario snatches up the millipede and munches on it happily completely forgetting that he should be looking out for the group's safty and not stuffing his face. He clearly needs ALOT to learn about being a dominant male.

Wisher begins to eat himself full, he liked group life.

Zakiya barked to Mario. He should be keeping lookout. She wasn't very certain he'd be the father of her first litter.

Toolsa looked on from nearby, crouching down. He was in the same state as Rooka in the north... He was fierce but very loyal too.

Spotting another meerkat, Tamasha alerted the group.

Zakiya looked up, growling slightly.

Toolsa was also smart enough not to approach until he was accepted. He tried to show that he was no threat...

Zakiya growled as she saw it was a male, it wasn't her choice whether or not he could join. She turned to Mario.

Hearing the alarm call, Mario looks up with half of the millipede hanging from his mouth and spots Toolsa. he growls slightly feeling that his dominance may be threatened. He may be inexperianced but he's willing to fight to keep his position at the top. Mario sees that Toolsa isn't a threat and decides to approach him. He circles the strange male sniffing him. He seems to be ok. Mario scent marks him allowing him into the group but gives him a stern growl to remind him that he's the male boss and if there's any funny business there will be serious consequences.

Zakiya rolled her eyes. Tamasha shouldn't be the one to alert the group of a strange male, if anyone it, sould have been Mario alerting the mob.

After submitting, Toolsa glanced at Mario for a moment before rolling his eyes, sensing the slight inexperience. He wasn't eager to become leader. He had confidence, and intelligence, and could lead himself if he wanted to, but still had the ability to follow orders. He immediately took his position as a sentry, his sense of duty coming immediately. None here would ever know that his sense of duty and extreme ferocity was nothing compared to the kind meerkat he once was.

ooc: MEH. I'm failing at playing these characters... Maybe I'll have Nalses join him, since I think they could use eachother's company... I meant for them to seem lifeless, emotionless, since the darkness will have eaten at their souls... I'm playing them too much like what they were before Makuta attacked them. The part of them that should only show in their thoughts, not their words or actions...

ooc: Okay.

bic: Zakiya still watched Mario and growled, he'd have to do better if he wanted to father her pups.

Toolsa watched them with interest.

Zakiya just decided to ignore Mario for now and knew the first thing they had to do was find a burrow. She made lead calls and headed off to search for a home.

Tamasha dwelled close to the back of the group.

Toolsa followed close to the front.

Mario followed close behind Zakiya wanting to show affection to her but frowns knowing that she'll either push him away, lash out at him or won't return the favor. He looks back at Tamasha thinking that he's made a mistake but his feelings for Zakiya are even stronger even though she doesn't appear to be feeling the same for him.

Tamasha sees Mario look back at her and feels like she's been stabbed. She knew who he wanted, and that it wasn't her.

Zakiya ignored her sister's feelings and marched ahead, calling to remind someone to keep lookout.

Toolsa nodded and watched the skies as he followed, making sure there was no trouble...

Tamasha tried to shake off her feelings.

Mario caught up to Zakiya and pads along side her but keeps a comfortable distance he also scans the horizon for possible dangers.
